Hermann Ruckendorfer has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry providing CMC development and regulatory strategy for global product development of small molecules to biologics and advanced therapies. He holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Analytical Chemistry from University of Graz, Austria.

A previous Vice President at Nycomed Austria, and Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Nycomed Pharma, he provided CMC services to Nycomed/Takeda International Sales Organizations and Licensees in the European Union, USA, and Japan.

When Takeda absorbed Nycomed in 2011, Mr. Ruckendorfer served as the Director of the Quality Division and ISO Certified Medical Device Division at Takeda Austria until his retirement in 2016.

John S. Graham retired (2019) from his executive role at the FDA where he was the Director of the Office of Research in the FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine. He joined the FDA in 2013 following a 33-year career in DoD where he was the Director of Research (DoR) at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. He was an adjunct faculty member in the Division of Nursing, Allied Health & Sciences at Harford Community College, Bel Air, MD from 2002-2005.

Dr. Graham spent 15 years conducting research on wound healing of burns induced by the blistering chemical warfare agent sulfur mustard, authored or co-authored numerous publications and book chapters, and gave numerous platform presentations globally.

Dr. Graham is the recipient of many scientific awards including the FDA Award of Merit (2019), the Department of the Army Research & Development Achievement Award for Technical Excellence (2003), the Silver Award from the Excellence in Federal Career Awards Program for Outstanding Community Service (2004), Third Place at the Graduate Student Symposium, D.C. Chapter of the Society for Experimental Biology & Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, D.C. (2001), and the Quantimet Fisher Award from Leica Cambridge Ltd., Cambridge, U.K. (1993).

Dr. Graham received a B.S. degree in biological sciences from Drexel University, a Ph.D. in toxicology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix’s College of Graduate Business and Management in 2009. He was a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology from 2006-2020.
