The History
The nature of warfare is that of constant change. Since World War I, chemical weapons, such as sulfur mustard, have often been used to wreak havoc upon opposing troops. Despite the United Nations’ efforts to stem the use of these indiscriminate weapons, medical science has yet to catch up.
DermDefense Inc. is the first organization of its kind to focus on addressing the unique medical needs of warfighters and civilians who have suffered from chemical warfare.
The Mission

SM-1997 is a safe and effective countermeasure to sulfur mustard-induced dermal injuries. It is a unique, proven, effective, and easy-to-use product that treats this complex dermal injury.
We are seeking FDA approval as the only approved topical treatment program for cutaneous sulfur mustard injury. DermDefense Inc has built a team of physicians, scientists, investigators, regulatory compliance personnel, and management experts to accomplish our goal for regulatory approval of SM-1997.
